Another Star Lost In 2009

As 2009 the year that has claimed so many of our great celebrity's and icons comes to a close it takes yet another great actress from us.


Brittany Murphy (Nov. 10th 1977- Dec. 20th 2009)


This weekend Brittany Murphy the actress made famous by movie's such as "clueless" and "Uptown Girls" has died at the age of 32. It is reported that the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call for "Medical Assistance" at the home of Murphy and husband Simon Monjack a British screenwriter at 8:00Am December 20th 2009. Firefighters say they tried reviving the actress at her home before taking her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced Dead On Arrival at 10:04AM after going into cardiac arrest.

An autopsy was performed on December 21, 2009. Full results will not be available for several weeks; authorities are looking into her medical records and toxicology reports for more answers.
